“See it like it is. But not worse.” Anthony Robbins
Means, if it’s bad it’s bad, no point “positive thinking” it away, that’s not working. But it’s not bad forever, bad always me, bad only me, bad everybody else, etc. THAT would be making it worse.
The well meaning “don’t worry, all will be fine” is not helping in a time of crisis. In such a moment what you need is balls to look the problems in the eye, to face what’s bad head on, how else are you going to change it?
I’ve watched a segment of Tony’s breakthrough programme last night on youtube. Such powerful stuff. And stories everyone can relate to. Some more some less, I found one that helped me push through some barriers today.
After watching Tony in action (the stuff Oprah did on him is also brilliant, some clips are available in SA) I imagined what it would be like to have this giant of a man, with the enormous heart he clearly has, tower over me and look me straight in the eye. What would he tell ME? And it was a tough cookie, let me tell you that. I knew exactly what he would say, and I heard it.
Tony and all the other NLP stuff is incredible. Luckily there is a lot freely available and so everybody who really wants to better their circumstances can do so.
I made a deal with the peeps from Confident Future and their NLP programme, I’m half way on my mark and will soon be able to embark on the full programme all the way to certification. But already the free stuff is awesome. Life changing to say the least!
